Software Engineer, Systems
Engineering | Remote | Full time
We are seeking a software engineer to contribute to several layers of our stack, including the distributed systems that compose our backend and SDKs that users leverage in their applications to integrate with our services.
We run a modern cloud infrastructure with clear separation of the data and control planes, built on technologies like S3, Clickhouse, Postgres, and a set of core services developed in Go.
As a software engineer working on Dispatch, you will contribute to our internal systems and SDKs, which sometimes require working on language compilers and interpreters, so having experience in cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and programming in languages like Go and Python will be useful. Be prepared to build in public and stamp your name on our next blog post showcasing the amazing work that you’ve done for our customers!
Our team is distributed across the USA, Europe and Australia, and we get together a couple of times a year for week-long retreats of brainstorming, hacking, and good times.
This is an opportunity to join an early-stage tech startup founded by engineers who, in past lives, have left their mark on companies like Segment, Twilio, Facebook, Adobe, and Twitch and are also active members of the open-source community.
